Tou (Teng) is a senior general serving under Qin, first appearing as a sub-general under General Ouki (Wang Qi). He is a calm and capable commander, known for his signature whirlwind sword technique, which he uses to cut through enemy lines effortlessly. In the film, Tou plays a key role in executing Ouki's battle plans, leading a contingent of cavalry straight at General Chousou (Zhuang Zhao) and later creating an opening for the Qin army to retreat after Ouki is mortally wounded. As Ouki's final act, he transfers command to Tou, witnessed by Kanou.

When a Zhao detachment moves to intercept, Tou cuts through them effortlessly with his whirlwind sword technique. Later, after Ouki is mortally wounded by Hoken (Pang Nuan), Tou arrives and creates an opening for the Qin army to retreat. As his final act, Ouki transfers command to Tou, witnessed by Kanou. Tou then fights to clear a path for Shin (Xin), who is carrying Ouki from the battlefield.

On the battlefield, Ouki arrives and realizes Mou Bu has sacrificed his army to save trapped troops. Ouki orders Tou to activate their plan — leading a contingent of cavalry straight at General Chousou. A Zhao detachment moves to intercept, but Tou cuts through them effortlessly with his signature whirlwind sword technique. Simultaneously, Ouki orders the Hi-Shin Unit to charge directly toward Mou Bu's army. Later, after Hoken mortally wounds Ouki, Tou arrives and creates an opening for the Qin army to retreat. Shin carries Ouki from the battlefield. As his final act, Ouki transfers command to Tou, witnessed by Kanou. Mou Bu asks forgiveness; Ouki encourages him. Tou and others fight to clear a path for Shin.
